资料图:当前世界冠军日本“京”具有最高每秒8100万亿次的浮点运算能力,可列入1亿亿次计算机的行列,是排名第二的中国天河一号A(峰值计算能力2600万亿次)的3倍之多。

  西部新闻网消息:近日,重庆市组织召开重庆超级计算中心建设方案论证会,参会专家一致同意重庆超级计算中心建设方案通过论证,并指出建设方案具有三个显著特点:

  一是需求分析充分。方案指出重庆在城市管理、基因研究、三峡库区建设方面,以及周边地区在核模拟、航空航天、计算化学等领域研究方面均迫切需要十亿亿次超级计算主机服务。

  二是规划设计合理。方案采用曙光7000高效能计算机的设计思路符合国际超级计算机产业潮流,灵活可配的设计理念能够兼顾西部地区传统高性能计算和重庆云计算战略的需求。

  三是发展模式科学。方案明确的“产学研用各方开展运营”和“分期逐步扩展”发展模式符合中心建设客观规律,能够保障后期良好运营,并可为国家未来超级计算中心可持续发展模式探索宝贵经验。
